Brooke Sprunger is an applied theatre practitioner who holds a B.A. in Theatre from Eastern Mennonite University, and an M.A. in Applied Theatre from the City University of New York.
She has experience doing theatre with young people in classrooms and youth theatre groups in NYC and Pennsylvania, as well as in Rwanda where she participated in Project Rwanda, teaching Rwandan university students applied theatre techniques to work toward healing and peacebuilding in the wake of the 1994 genocide.
She has also led devised theatre projects that drew from her own research and experiences in Mexico, Palestine/Israel, and the larger Middle East region. She currently teaches theatre to elementary students at United Friends School in Quakertown, and has been a member of the Just Act Ensemble since its inception.
